Terms and Conditions of Sale – Urban Offroader
1. Definitions
“Urban Offroader”, “we”, or “us” refers to the company trading under this name and supplying vehicles to customers.

“Customer”, “you”, or “buyer” refers to the purchaser of any vehicle or services from Urban Offroader.

“Vehicle” refers to the car or cars purchased under this agreement.

2. Basis of Sale
All sales are subject to these Terms and Conditions. By placing an order or purchasing a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by them.

Any variation to these Terms must be agreed in writing by an authorised Urban Offroader representative.

3. Vehicle Description
All vehicles are described as accurately as possible. However, as most are used and/or imported, some variations in specification or minor cosmetic imperfections may exist.

Mileage is correct to the best of our knowledge but not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

4. Price and Payment
Prices include VAT (where applicable) and UK registration unless stated otherwise.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a vehicle.

Full payment must be made before the vehicle is released or delivered. We accept:

Bank transfer

In-person card payment

Approved finance agreements

We reserve the right to charge storage or interest fees if full payment is not received within 7 days of notification that the vehicle is ready.

5. Vehicle Registration & Delivery
We aim to register your vehicle promptly, but delays may occur due to DVLA processing times or compliance issues. We cannot be held liable for such delays.

Delivery is available at £1.80 per mile from Castle Donington (DE74 2PY) and must be paid in advance.

6. Warranty
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the vehicle advert, all vehicles are sold with a statutory 3-month warranty covering major mechanical and electrical failures.

The warranty excludes wear-and-tear items (e.g. tyres, brakes, clutches, bulbs), user damage, and issues arising from misuse or modification.

Claims must be made in writing during the warranty period, and the vehicle must be returned to our premises for assessment unless agreed otherwise.

7. Returns & Refunds
Vehicles purchased on-site and fully paid are non-refundable, except where covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or in breach of the implied warranty.

If you purchase a vehicle remotely (distance sale), you may have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless:

The car has been registered in your name.

You requested expedited delivery.

You use the car beyond inspection or test-driving.

Any refund will exclude delivery and collection costs. Vehicles must be returned in the same condition and at your expense.

8. Modifications & Accessories
We offer optional aftermarket modifications (e.g. wheels, roof racks, lighting kits). These are non-refundable once fitted.

Modifications may affect warranty or insurance and are the buyer’s responsibility to declare.

9. Liability
Urban Offroader will not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential loss (e.g. missed events, lost income).

Issues caused by third-party suppliers (e.g. DVLA, customs).

Our total liability is limited to the price paid for the vehicle.

10. Ownership and Risk
The vehicle remains the property of Urban Offroader until full cleared payment is received.

Risk (including damage or loss) passes to you upon delivery or collection.

11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
